Get a Chrome update when available

Normally updates happen in the background when you close and reopen your computer's browser. But if you haven't closed your browser in a while, you might see a pending update:

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, Click on the 3 verticle dots or "hamburger" menu iconMore(the vertical 3 dots)
  3. Click on "Help" then click "About Google Chrome"
  4. It may say "Checking for Updates...". It may find updates, download them and after a few minutes prompt to [Restart] Google Chrome. Do so at that time.
  5. If it says "Google Chrome is up to date " then you have the latest version and there is not update to install.

This can help fix odd behaviors on websites, issues trying to cast or while casting. Updates may fix the issue you are experiencing.
