The following steps are to connect a Microsoft Windows computer to the "District 145 - Staff" wireless.
Right click wifi icon. Select “Open Network & Internet settings”
Select the Wi-Fi Section
Click “Manage known networks”
Select District 145 networks and forget them.
Close the menu
Hit start and search Control Panel
Select “Network and Internet”
Select “Network and Sharing Center”
Select “Set up a new connection or network”
Select “Manually connect to a wireless network” and hit next
Network name is “District 145 - Staff” no quotes
Security type is WPA2 - Enterprise
Hit next
Click “Change connection settings”\
Go to “Security” tab
Select “Settings” button in the middle
Uncheck the top checkbox (“Verify the server….”)
Click “Configure” near the bottom.
Ensure that the checkbox in that window is not checked. Then hit OK
Hit OK at the bottom
Select “Advanced Settings”
Check the top box (“Specify authentication mode”)
Select “User authentication” from the dropdown menu.
Click “Save credentials”
Type in username & password.
Hit OK, hit OK again, and hit OK one more time. Then select “Close”
Connect to Staff wifi if it has not already connected.
