How do numbers and email addresses get on the Blocked Lists?
Numbers and email addresses can only be added to the blocked list in one of two ways: Either by an individual user manually adding an entry to the list or by the system automatically adding a disconnected phone number or invalid email address to the list. How to search the blocked list?
- In SchoolMessenger, go to the System tab, then the Blocked Lists sub-tab.
- Note: There are two separate blocked lists: one for phone/SMS numbers and one for email addresses.
- Click on one. In this example, we clicked Email Addresses. (Below there is an example of Phone Calls / Text Messages)
- Type in the email address in the search box and click Search.
- Find the contact you want to unblock and click Delete to remove the block.
- Here is an example of a phone number search, you can simply search for the phone number in the following format: 4027862321 then click Delete to remove the block.
