NOTE: Parent Portal access accounts are only for students in Grades 3-12


  1. Get a list of the students in your school in Grades 3-12.

    1. In the school, from the Start Page, click ALL

    2. Note the number of students found.  Your student selection is automatically saved so you can do the following steps now.

  2. Mass Enable Parent Portal access & Assign IDs and Passwords for parents access.

    1. At your School, from the Start Page, click on Special Functions>Assign IDs & Passwords

    2. Match the settings exactly as pictured below!!!!!  Settings here will be used on the Student Access Account screen if using the Auto Assign link

    3. Select “For the selected ### students only” (Current Selection) This should match the number above.

    4. Checkmark “Don’t overwrite any existing IDs or passwords”

    5. For “In case of conflicts append:”...select “3 character random alphanumeric sequence”

    6. Uncheckmark “Assign Student Usernames and passwords”

    7. Checkmark “Assign Access IDs and passwords”

    8. Select “5” and “Random alphanumeric sequence”

    9. Uncheckmark “Enable access accounts for processed students”

    10. Checkmark “Enable access accounts for processed parents”

    11. Uncheckmark “Assign Lunch IDs”

    12. Select “5” and “a random number”

  3. Done!  You can now run your parent portal letters.


If you want to confirm every 3-12 student in your school has the parent portal web access enabled, you can do the following:

  1. At your School, from the Start Page, click on Stored Searches (below the Student search box)

  2. Run the search titled “Technology - parent portal - disabled”

  3. It should have 0 (zero) records which means everyone has an account created for the students in your school in grades 3-12.


If you want to confirm every 3-12 student in your school has the parent portal web access has a username, you can do the following:

  1. At your School, from the Start Page, click on Stored Searches (below the Student search box)

  2. Run the search titled “Technology - parent portal - no username”

  3. It should have 0 (zero) records which means everyone has an account created for the students in your school in grades 3-12.
