ELMO Interactive may prompt you for permissions for camera access, screen recording, and input control. Many features may not work until you grant these permissions. Any prompt will look similar to this:

Click “Open System Preferences” if you see one of these prompts. And you should be directed to the correct location in System Preferences to make the change.

Click the lock in the lower-left corner of the window and enter your password when prompted. Then check the box next to ELMO_Interactive_Toolbox to grant the necessary permissions. If ELMO Interactive Toolbox is running, you will be prompted to quit and reopen the application before the change will take effect.

As previously mentioned, you may be prompted to grant permission for more than one privacy category. These will be Screen Recording, Input Monitoring, Microphone, and Camera. You can enable all of them at one time by visiting the relevant categories in the Security & Privacy > Privacy sidebar. If you do not see ELMO_Interactive_Toolbox listed in a specific category, you can click the ‘+’ to add it by browsing to your Applications folder and selecting the app.

If you are not prompted by ELMO Interactive Toolbox to enable any of these privacy settings and you find that certain features are not working within the software, it is likely that you’ll need to navigate to System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy and enable them without the prompts. If you find this is necessary remember to enable Screen Recording, Input Monitoring, Microphone, and Camera to ensure that all of the features are working.
